Rasberry™ Hosting and Rasberry™ Web Services are operated by Tensioncore™ Administration Services dba Rasberry™ Web Services.
This policy applies to rasberry.ca, the Rasberry™ Account Management Portal, customer account features, hosting services, virtual server services, service management tools, support communications, billing records, and related operational systems.

2. Personal Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use Rasberry™ services, we may collect limited personal information and service information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Mailing or billing address, where required for billing, tax, verification, or account records
- Account login information and authentication records
- Account, user, service, order, invoice, and billing records
- Payment status, payment processor references, transaction IDs, receipts, and related billing metadata
- Service plan, provisioning, resource, assigned IP address, firewall, hostname, and configuration records
- Support requests, cancellation requests, account deletion requests, and related communications
- Internal administrative notes related to accounts, services, support, abuse, billing, security, or operations
- Audit events and event history created by the Account Management Portal
- Security, abuse-prevention, troubleshooting, and system operation logs
- Browser, device, IP address, session, user agent, date/time, and request information created when using the website or portal
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance records, including acceptance timestamp, policy version, IP address, and user agent
We collect only the information reasonably required to operate accounts, provide requested services, process billing, support customers, maintain service records, protect our systems, prevent abuse, and meet business, legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations.
3. Hosted Content, Virtual Servers, and Customer Data
Rasberry™ provides hosting and infrastructure services that may allow customers to store, process, transmit, or publish their own content, data, applications, websites, files, databases, email, logs, or other materials.
Customer-hosted content is not intentionally reviewed, browsed, copied, disclosed, or monitored for ordinary business purposes. Access to customer-hosted content is limited to what is reasonably necessary for valid service, security, abuse-prevention, legal, billing, troubleshooting, migration, recovery, or operational purposes.
Examples of valid service or operational purposes may include:
- Providing customer-requested support
- Investigating security incidents, abuse reports, malware, spam, phishing, network attacks, or unauthorized access
- Responding to legal obligations or lawful requests
- Maintaining platform stability and protecting other customers
- Troubleshooting service availability, network, firewall, DNS, storage, console, or provisioning issues
- Verifying that a service is operating, suspended, cancelled, locked, or removed as expected
Any access to customer-hosted content is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the purpose involved.
4. Account Management Portal and Session Cookies
Rasberry™ may use cookies or similar browser storage for authenticated users of the Account Management Portal. These are used for login sessions, account access, security, CSRF protection, preferences, and related portal functionality.
Public areas of rasberry.ca may create standard server logs through the web server or hosting environment. These logs may include technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date, time, response status, and error information.
Server logs and portal records are used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, service operation, performance review, and investigation of errors or suspicious activity.
5. Payments and Billing
Rasberry™ may use third-party payment processors, such as Square or other providers, to process payments. Payment processors may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Rasberry™ does not need to store full card numbers in order to operate normal hosting accounts. We may receive and retain payment status, receipt details, transaction IDs, order references, customer references, billing records, invoice history, and limited payment metadata required for accounting, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax, or legal purposes.
6. How Personal Information Is Used
Personal information and service information may be used to:
- Create and manage customer accounts
- Provide, provision, configure, support, suspend, cancel, or remove services
- Process payments, invoices, receipts, refunds, credits, and billing records
- Communicate with customers about accounts, orders, services, support, billing, maintenance, or security
- Provide customer support and respond to service requests
- Record Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance
- Maintain audit history, event history, administrative notes, and operational visibility
- Protect Rasberry, customers, networks, systems, and services from abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, spam, malware, or technical problems
- Investigate service issues, failed provisioning, network problems, security incidents, or customer-reported problems
- Maintain business, legal, accounting, insurance, tax, security, and compliance records
- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, regulatory requirements, or lawful requests
Personal information is not used for unrelated purposes without consent unless permitted or required by law.
7. Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal information is not sold.
Personal information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary for one of the following purposes:
- To provide requested services
- To operate billing, payment processing, accounting, support, hosting, infrastructure, security, or administrative systems
- With customer consent
- To trusted service providers who assist with business or technical operations and are expected to protect the information appropriately
- To investigate abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, spam, malware, network attacks, or security threats
- To comply with legal, regulatory, insurance, accounting, tax, or business record obligations
- To respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorized parties
- To protect the rights, property, safety, systems, services, customers, or operations of Rasberry™ or others
Customer-hosted content, private account information, billing records, and support communications are not shared with third parties for marketing or resale.
8. Service Requests, Cancellations, and Account Deletion Requests
Rasberry™ may collect and retain information submitted through support requests, service cancellation requests, account deletion requests, contact forms, email, or other customer communication channels.
Cancellation and deletion requests are reviewed by Rasberry. A request does not automatically cancel billing, delete services, remove hosted data, shut down virtual servers, remove DNS records, remove firewall rules, reverse payments, or hard-delete account records.
Some account, billing, audit, security, abuse-prevention, tax, accounting, legal, or service history records may need to be retained even after a cancellation or deletion request has been processed.
9. Data Security and Safeguards
Reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards are used to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal.
Safeguards may include, where appropriate:
- Limited access to customer information
- Password-protected administrative systems
- Session security and authentication controls
- Audit history and administrative visibility
- Separation of customer, billing, service, and infrastructure records where appropriate
- Operational controls for service management, provisioning, firewall changes, and administrative actions
- Review of suspicious activity, abuse reports, and security events
- Secure handling of payment information through payment processors
No method of storage, transmission, hosting, repair, remote access, or electronic communication is completely risk-free. Rasberry™ takes reasonable steps to protect personal information according to the sensitivity of the information and the nature of the service.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account, contact, billing, and service information
- Keeping account credentials secure
- Using strong passwords and protecting access to email, control panels, virtual servers, and related systems
- Maintaining their own copies of important hosted content, configuration, and data unless a separate written service agreement says otherwise
- Complying with applicable laws and acceptable use requirements
- Managing the content, software, users, scripts, services, and configuration they deploy
- Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access, security issues, or billing problems
- Keeping contact information current so service, billing, security, and cancellation notices can be delivered
Rasberry™ will take reasonable care when operating services, but hosting, networking, software, customer configuration, third-party systems, and internet services can involve technical risks.
11. Retention of Personal Information
Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including service delivery, account management, billing, support, warranty reference, accounting, tax, legal, security, abuse-prevention, dispute resolution, or business record requirements.
Account records, service history, audit events, billing records, support history, cancellation requests, deletion requests, and security records may be retained after a service ends where retention remains necessary for legitimate business, accounting, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, security, or operational reasons.
Customer-hosted data associated with cancelled, suspended, deleted, or abandoned services may be removed according to the applicable service lifecycle, customer request, legal obligation, operational requirement, or written agreement.
12. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
Individuals may request access to their personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of information where appropriate.
Some information may need to be retained for business, legal, tax, accounting, billing, warranty, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, abuse prevention, audit, or service record purposes.
Requests may be sent to privacy-at-rasberry[.]ca or submitted through the available account or support channels.
13. Consent
By creating an account, using the Account Management Portal, ordering services, submitting support requests, communicating with Rasberry, or otherwise providing personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and handling of personal information as described in this policy and as reasonably required to provide, support, bill, secure, and operate the requested services.
Consent may be withdrawn, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may limit or prevent the ability to provide certain services.
14. Children and Minors
Rasberry™ services are intended for adults and for customers who have the legal authority to create accounts, enter into service agreements, and manage hosted systems.
The minimum age to create an account or purchase services is 18 years old. Rasberry™ does not knowingly collect personal information from children for account creation or paid service use.
15. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, business practices, security practices, or website and portal functionality.
The updated version will be posted on rasberry.ca with a revised effective date. Where appropriate, Rasberry™ may also provide notice through the Account Management Portal, email, or service notices.
